This web site was originally set up to support the Longo Reunion of July 27 & 28 2017. The reunion started as a reunion of the descendants of Frank Longo who eventually settled in Welland Ontario Canada. The organizers quickly realized that it had to be extended to all the relatives including those on our Grand-Mother, Caroline Rosso's side, relatives that we had heard so much about but had never met.

After the reunion it was decided that we should keep the web site operational, and as up to date as the input provided by you, the family.

FAMILY - What an interesting concept.

The English Oxford Dictionary defines family as "A group of people related by blood or marriage." I, personally am not satisfied with that definition and am working on a different one. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

             Sunday July 30, 2017 Afternoon Italian PicNic/BBQ with Italian Games including cheese rolling, soccer, bocci ... + child games

HOTELS: Niagara Falls is a great location for families as there is so much to do. We will allow each family to arrange accommodations                    that are suitable to their situation. All information is available at Niagara Falls related web sites.

 

 

OTHER ACTIVITIES: We will advise as plans come together. We are developing a self guided tour of Welland with key sites marked                                        for anyone interested.

 

 

ASSUMPTIONS: Many of you have children with families of their own who are on the distribution list and will be receiving these announcements. Our concern when it comes to determining numbers is that they will respond and then you will include them in your response resulting in them being counted twice. We have decided that we will leave it up to each family as to how they want to manage this but when the time comes we will somehow have to be notified who is included in your count. WORKING ON THIS. WILL ADVISE.
